Question 1

Is Invest Long Beach the same organisation as the Long Beach Economic Partnership?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Invest Long Beach is the new name for the Long Beach Economic Partnership (LBEP). Same 501(c)(3) nonprofit, same mission, same board. The new name says plainly what the organisation is for.

Question 2

What does Invest Long Beach actually do?

Accepted Answer

We work directly with companies on site selection, incentive programmes, industry-focused initiatives and talent pipeline development, and we commission and publish research on the sectors that drive the Long Beach economy. We are a convener as much as a service: our role is to get the right people in one room.

Question 3

Who can become a member?

Accepted Answer

Businesses and individuals building or developing relationships in and around Long Beach. There are three tiers: Board of Governors, Executive Committee and General Membership. Apply through the form on this page and our intake team will be in touch.

Question 4

Are the research reports free?

Accepted Answer

Part of our mission is to conduct industry-specific research and provide it to our members and to the wider business community. Much of it is commissioned with the CSULB Office of Economic Research.
